The Counseling Ministry at Cameron Road Church of Christ serves individuals, couples, and families using a professional and biblically-based approach to address their emotional and spiritual needs.

The ministry provides individual, marital, premarital, family, and group counseling. The Counseling Ministry strives to meet everyone’s need and offers some level of intervention, whether as a member of the Cameron Road Church of Christ or a member of the community at large.

 

The Counseling Ministry provides various services and preventive education to enrich and support the spiritual, emotional, and social functioning of members of the congregation.

 

The areas of concentration are testing and evaluations, conflict management, couples and families, marriage issues, parenting, parent-child relationships, adolescent/teenagers, mid-life crisis, and life transitions.

 

The approach in most instances is the use of applicable assessment tools and biblical counseling for Christ-centered resolutions. Brother Larry Smith, a Certified Christian Counselor and the Associate Minister, leads this effort.
